Capacity Building Session Launched in East Africa

To build capacity of environmental regulators participating in the East African Environmental Compliance and Enforcement Network (EANECE), a four day Regional Training on Principles of Environmental Compliance and Enforcement and Facilitator’s Course was convened in Mombasa, Kenya, on 14-18 November 2011.
There were twenty four participants from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Ethiopia. The training was facilitated by a teams of INECE experts and EANECE experts. The INECE experts were Jo Gerardu, Don Gipe and Tom Maslaney; the EANECE experts were Gerry Opondo, Dr. Robert Ntakamulenga and Eric Njue.
