INECE works to strengthen capacity across the regulatory cycle to implement and secure compliance with environmental requirements.

INECE develops and delivers original capacity building materials, many of which are available for practitioners through the INECE web site, including the Principles of Environmental Compliance and Enforcement Handbook, the Performance Measurement Guidance for Environmental Compliance Professionals, INECE Capacity Building Program on Environmental Compliance and Enforcement Aspects of Good Water Governance, and many other tools which can be accessed through the Capacity Building Resource Library.

INECE hosts the International Network for Environmental Compliance Training Professionals, a practitioner knowledge community that shares information and best practices, supports trainer education and exchanges, and promotes the importance of effective environmental compliance training.
